Cadox® M-50a VR is a special purpose catalyst for the room temperature cure of promoted unsaturated polyester resins. Unpromoted unsaturated polyester resins can be heat-cured with Cadox® M-50a VR in the temperature range of 100-127°C. Cadox® M-50a VR also has a high MEKP monomer content which may provide reduced cure times in some resin systems. Cadox® M-50a Red offers all the advantages of a red MEKP. The series of products includes a red indicator system that is there to visualize hot & cold spots, schrinkage problems, mass effects, thermal effects of core materials and dead flow zones in applications like vacuum infusion.
